Bio: Francisco Javier Rupérez is a Biochemist and currently Lecturer in Bioanalysis and related subjects at Universidad CEU San Pablo, Madrid (Spain). He holds a PhD in Pharmacy from Universidad CEU San Pablo and his research career continued as co-founder and active member of CEMBIO (Madrid, Spain). His experience as researcher and teacher has been developed over the past 23 years, counting with more than 60 publications in journals included in JCR. He has directed Master projects and PhD theses. He actively participates in competitive research projects and in different cooperation contracts with public entities and private companies. He is interested in all stages of the Metabolomics workflow, but specially focused in the methodology for LC/MS, as well as the biochemical interpretation. On top of all, he is strongly involved in the collaborative research characteristic of Metabolomics, because “Eowawa! THUS do we do in the CEMBIO!”.
