Bio: Carolina Gonzalez-Riano obtained her PhD in Pharmacy at the Universidad CEU San Pablo, Madrid (Spain) under the supervision of Prof. Coral Barbas and Prof. Antonia Garcia in 2018. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO), Madrid (Spain). Her main field of interest involves targeted and untargeted metabolomics and lipidomics studies based on a multiplatform analytical approach (LC-MS, GC-MS, and CE-MS) to unveil the pathophysiological mechanisms behind the development of different neurodegenerative diseases. Her current research activity is also centered on applying a multiplatform untargeted metabolomics-based strategy to investigate tuberculosis.
