Bio: Ángeles López-López holds a degree in Chemistry from the Autónoma University of Marid, Spain. She is currently in the third year of her Ph.D. in the Program in Life Technologies and Sciences from the San Pablo-CEU University (Spain). Her research is mainly focused on multiplatform (LC-MS, GC-MS, CE-MS) metabolomics and lipidomics approaches in cancer studies to uncover potential biomarkers. These studies involve both targeted and untargeted strategies applied to different cancer types by analyzing multiple biological matrices. Regarding lipidomics, she has been trained in LC-MS/MS analysis of oxidized lipids aiming to unveil their role in the onset and progression of Neuroendocrine tumors and lung cancer. Additionally, she has acquired solid skills in the method development and optimization for CE-MS analysis.
