Bio: Vanesa Alonso Herranz is currently the technical head of the laboratory. She is responsible for all the equipment in the laboratory, and she manages the daily operations with meticulous work habits and respect for safety procedures. She has acquired and refined her expertise in LC/IT-MS, LC/QTOF, LC/QqQ, CE/TOF, GC/SQ, GC/QTOF, being an active part of the development and optimization of research procedures, methodologies, and crucial projects. She instructs and supervises laboratory-training teams of international students to provide efficient solutions and support. Thanks to her keen sense of organization, she is the core person to schedule staff and supplies to ensure the lab runs smoothly. Additionally, she is part of the Service of Research Support (Servicio de Apoyo a la Investigación: SAI) Unit of Mass Spectrometry.
