Bio: Fernanda Rey-Stolle Valcarce is a Chemist and currently a Full Professor and a researcher at Universidad CEU San Pablo, Madrid (Spain) since 1994. She obtained her PhD in Physical Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) in 1993. Her research was mainly focused on Physical-Chemical properties of polymers, Physical-Chemical study of the intercalation process into DNA, biomaterials and computational simulations in Biological systems. Since she joined the CEMBIO her research consists primarily of the development of analytical methods by GC-MS for metabolomics studies in all type of matrices.
