Bio: Nuria Contreras Gómez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biomedicine from Autonoma de Madrid University (Spain). She is currently a PhD student in the Translational Medicine program at San Pablo CEU University in Madrid. She is developing her PhD research at the Centre for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO) under the supervision of Dr María Marta Escribese Alonso (Institute of Applied Molecular Medicine) and Dr David Obeso Montero (CEMBIO), focusing on the use of targeted metabolomics studies based on the use of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) to understand the metabolic differences between different phenotypes of asthmatic patients.
