Bio: David Vicente Zurdo is an Assistant Professor in the area of Analytical Chemistry at CEU-San Pablo University (Spain), conducting his research work at the Center of Excellence in Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO) and formerly in the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). His research has been focused on the development and evaluation of neuroprotective molecules against Alzheimer’s disease (AD) using analytical and chemometric techniques. He has experience in the analysis of novel molecules using 13C and 1H NMR, culture of cell lines, metal and metalloid speciation, as well as being regular user of atomic and molecular techniques coupled to chromatographic separation. He is Vice President of the Technical Section of Teaching of the Association of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Madrid and member of various scientific societies such as the Official College of Chemists of Madrid, the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) and the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry (SEQA). He is a reviewer for more than 20 JCR journals.
