Bio: Cristina Muñoz San Martín is a full-time lecturer at CEU San Pablo University since September 2023, when she joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy. In addition to her teaching duties in the area of Analytical Chemistry, she is part of the Center of Excellence in Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO), where she currently carries out her research work. In 2024, she obtained her PhD degree in Advanced Chemistry with International Mention from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Her research work has focused on the development of diagnostic, prognostic and clinical monitoring tools based on electrochemical biosensing concepts for the determination of relevant biomarkers in prevalent diseases. She is the author of 10 scientific articles published in international journals.
