Bio: Sara Londoño Osorio is a Ph.D. student at San Pablo-CEU University, supported by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Doctoral Networks (MSCA-DN) scholarship. Her research aims to standardize untargeted and targeted lipidomics in blood microsampling (BμS), making metabolomics an accessible tool for monitoring health and well-being. She holds an M.Sc. in Biosciences from EAFIT University, supported by a Minciencias scholarship, with a focus on studying the gut microbiota in breastfeeding and pregnant women in Antioquia (2023). She won the Mitacs Globalink Research Award, which allowed her to conduct a research internship at McMaster University, Canada (2022). B.Eng in Biological Engineering from National University of Colombia (2017). She has experience in genomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, and data analysis (QIIME2, Python, and R Studio). She is the co-founder of Astrolab Biotechnology and is passionate about putting science at the service of society.
