Bio: Délia Chaves Moreira dos Santos is Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Brazil. Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Deontology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Cosmetics Technology, Physico-chemical and Microbiological Quality Control. She was a professor at the Univiçosa (Viçosa - MG) and Dynamics (Ponte Nova - MG) Faculties. At these faculties she taught several disciplines, including pharmacology, pharmaceutical technology, cosmetic technology and pharmacokinetics. In addition, she mentored several students on course completion and curricular internships. She has experience in the Pharmacy area, with an emphasis on Nanotechnology. Nowadays she works with nanostructured lipid carriers and nanoemulsions containing amphotericin B for the treatment of systemic fungal infections and leishmaniasis. She also has a sunscreen project containing residues obtained from the processing of marble powder. Delia's scientific interests are in the field of pharmaceutical nanotechnology and cosmetology.
