Bio: Danuta Dudzik is an affiliate scientist at the Centre for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO) San Pablo CEU University in Madrid, Spain and Assistant Professor at the Department of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacodynamics Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland. She received her PhD in Medical Sciences at Medical University of Białystok (Poland) and post-doctoral (habilitation) degree in Clinical Metabolomics, Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland). She developed her expertise in analytical chemistry with a special interest in untargeted mass spectrometry-based metabolomics approach (LC-MS, GC-MS, CE-MS). Her research is centre on improvement and development of robust quality assurance procedures for untargeted metabolomics workflow and clinical application of metabolomics especially on the field of perinatology and cancer. She is involved in several international projects where she contributes to untargeted metabolomics analysis and promotes metabolomics innovative research. She co-authored more than 30 scientific articles and serve as an ad hoc reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
